December Beauty Favorites

One of the things I look forward to at the beginning of every month is beauty favorites. I absolutely love seeing what gems other people have discovered! It’s such a guilty pleasure of mine to run to the store and pick up a few of the products people have mentioned. Especially when those products end up being staples in my collection. You can expect to find my monthly beauty and lifestyle favorites here on the blog at the beginning of every month with the things I’ve been loving the month before. So keep an eye out for those!

Without further ado here is a list of all the beauty items I’ve been loving. Grab yourself a snack and scroll away!

ONE// L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

This foundation was a life savor for me! Not only does it have good coverage but it also feels so lightweight on the skin. I sometimes forget I’m even wearing makeup. I have oily/combination skin so I definitely have to set it with a powder but once I do I’m good to go! If you have normal/dry skin I would definitely recommend skipping the setting powder to get the full glow the foundation has to offer. BONUS: Packaging is a squeeze tube so no mess when applying!

TWO// Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

I cannot believe how long it took me to get my hands on this palette. I had been eyeing it for months but was worried it was one of those over hyped products. Boy was I wrong. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and extremely easy to blend. The colors are right up my alley  with neutrals and pops of color for just about any eye look. I was so excited when I found this under my Christmas tree this year!

THREE// e.l.f Perfect Finish HD Powder

It seems this was the year for translucent powders. There are so many to choose from! I personally couldn’t bring myself to dish up the extra money for a high end powder and when I heard juicyyyyjas talk about this powder in a dupes video I was sold. It works great at controlling the oiliness I tend to have while still brightening my face. For the price it’s a total steal!

FOUR// Milani Spotlight Face & Eye Strobe Palette (Candle Light)

I don’t know about you but I loooove me a good highlighter. This has been my go to and definitely lives up to its name.

FIVE// Works of Tarte Color Wheel Amazonian Clay Blush Palette

Every year Tarte releases a blush palette for the holiday’s and this year I couldn’t resist grabbing one for myself! I mean look at those colors. I’ve always wanted to try Tarte’s blushes and I thought this would be perfect to dip my toes in. There are so many colors that can work with several different skin tones. Any blush that you could possibly need is all in this little number. No regrets here!

SIX// GUCCI Premiére

I have been very loyal to my Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau De Toilette Spray but when I saw Blake Lively’s ad I had to go and smell it for myself. It is divine!! I won’t pretend to know how to describe a perfume scent but I highly recommend you give it a wiff if you’re in the market for a new perfume.

SEVEN// Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

I must confess that I have a hate/love relationship with this product simply because of its applicator. It can get really messy very quickly but it’s so worth the extra work. This concealer covers up dark circles like a dream and really highlights underneath the eyes (I think I’m noticing a trend here). This stuff also lasts a really long time and I like that you can see how much product you’ve used up as you go.

EIGHT// Jordana Best Liner For Brow & Eye

OK how often do you find a great brow product that’s only .99 cents? This. Stuff. Is. Amazing. Enough said!

NINE// Maybelline Full ‘N Soft Waterproof Mascara

I saved the best for last. If you’re looking for a mascara that gives you both length and thickness like falsies do, look no further. I discovered this mascara by accident when I ran to the drugstore and grabbed the quickest thing I could find. Three words: Eyelash game changer.
