Keurig 2.0 K250 Review

For Christmas my boyfriend’s parents gifted us a Keurig. I finally got Roger to drink coffee and we have been drinking it every morning which is why we wanted a coffee maker. I’ll be frank and say the reason why I wanted a Keurig so bad is because I was tired of doing it the traditional way (first world problems). I would always forget to take out the filter or put the pot to wash. Annoying. We definitely took advantage of all the holiday sales because coffee makers have definitely gone pricier and scored a great deal on it.

The assembly was pretty simple but then again Roger was the one who put it together for us (hehe). The instructions are very clear so it shouldn’t be too hard to build. It is really simple to use. Once you turn it on it will begin preheating the water. Then you lift up the handle and insert the K-Cup of your choice. Once you’re done with that you pick the size of drink you would like (4 oz, 6 oz, 8 0z, 10 oz). You can then decide whether you like your coffee strong or if it’s hot chocolate. After that you’re good to go! You just hit the button and you’ll have your coffee ready in under a minute. Perfect for those early mornings.

What really sold me was the maintenance of it. It will routinely let you know when you need to change the water filer or clean the K-Cup dispenser. How cool is that?! No need to worry about forgetting to clean it after using it. A great bonus is all the different types of coffee’s that you can make. You’ll never have to wait for you to finish the entire bag of coffee in order to try a new one.

Here are our favorite K-Cup’s:

Starbucks Coffee and Hot Chocolate // They have a great variety so you can find something for everyone. I personally want to try their variety box soon.

Dunkin’ Donuts French Vanilla // If you like your coffee sweet like us you’ll love this.

Green Mountain Coffee // This blend is definitely a lot stronger than the Dunkin’ Donuts but they have a fantastic selection. I love the morning blend. Plus they now offer recyclable K-Cups. Drink coffee and help our environment?! Say no more.

The Original Donut Shop Coffee // I tried this in the sample box that came with the Keurig and it was pretty darn good. I had never tried it before but really enjoyed it. A perfect medium roast flavor.

Did I miss anything? Leave me your questions below along with your favorite K-Cups.
