Week In Review

Is it me or did this week fly by? In between work, writing blog posts, and everyday life I seriously lost track of time. I’m still trying to get into the groove of things for the new year. I have to start utilizing the planner I bought to keep all of my scheduling on paper instead of only making a mental note of it. I have been looking forward to Friday all week because I’m finally going to see Fifty Shades Darker!! I know I know call it what you’d like but I really enjoyed the book series.

I’m also really looking forward to sleep! I haven’t been sleeping well lately. My body feels tired but when I lay down to go to sleep I just can’t and it is definitely catching up to me. A friend suggested melatonin but I’m not too fond of the idea of taking medicine. Do you have any recommendations? Let me know! I’d love to hear your suggestions!

In the meantime, here’s a couple of things that have caught my eye this week:

Fifty Shades of Grey Soundtrack //  In preparation for the big day I have been listening to the soundtrack to the first film. I’m obsessed! The book series incorporates music very heavily and it’s so good. Anything with Frank Sinatra in it is guaranteed amazing. I also love the classical soundtrack as well, it’s a tad bit… darker (wink, wink).

Google Photos App // This app was a complete game changer for me. I’ve never liked dealing with iCloud, I feel it makes things a tad more tedious and complicated. No thank you. Google photos backs up all the photos and videos on your phone so if you switch phones, lose it, etc. all you have to do is log in to the app and all your photos will be there. It’s available on both the apple store and google play. Did I mention it has unlimited storage? Sold!

Kate Spade Surprise Sale // Did you catch the Kate Spade surprise sale? It ends tonight! I dedicated an entire blog post to it because that’s how good it is. P.S. This would make for one sweet Valentine’s Day gift.

Starbucks Molten Chocolate Drinks // Have any of you tried the new Starbucks drinks? They look sooo delicious. I know it’s probably half sugar but calories don’t count when it’s chocolate… right?

Stranger Things Season Two // I binge watched the first season with my family last year when we went home for my brother’s wedding and it was so intriguing! The season two trailer aired during the Super Bowl and I am all about it. You know that I’m doing for Halloween.

    Melatonin it’s hormone found in your body it’s not actually medicine. It helps you adust your body’s internal clock. You can use it while your body adjust to sleep at certain time than you can stop taking it. Hope this helps 😘
