There’s nothing like pampering yourself in the comfort of your own home. I love doing this after a long day of work or whenever I just need a little “me” time. I find that having this time to myself clears my mind and leaves me feeling so relaxed. I thought I’d take you through my pamper routine in hopes that it inspires you to do a little something for yourself. You deserve it!
Step 1. The very first thing I do is change into my favorite robe. There’s something so comforting about wearing a fluffy robe. It makes the whole experience feel luxurious.
Step 2. I put my hair up in a bun because the bun life is the best life. Am I right or am I right? I don’t like to have hair by my face at the end of the day.
Step 3. I then wash my face to get rid of any makeup. I like to shower and clean the tub before taking a bath so I know I’m soaking in clean water. (I know, I’m such a germaphobe!)
Step 3. Once I’m showered I start running the water for my bath. I usually throw in a bath bomb or do a bubble bath. I love the bath bombs and bubble bars from LUSH. They’re really affordable and some can be split in half to make them last longer. However you can use whatever you prefer. As long as you feel relaxed!
Step 4. While the tub is filling I use this time to apply a face mask. I leave it on while I’m soaking in the bath. I also use this time to pour myself a glass of wine. No pamper routine is complete without a glass of your favorite wine!
Step 5. Bath time! I usually grab my laptop and watch beauty videos on YouTube while I enjoy my bath and glass of wine. A few of my favorites are Jaclyn Hill, Juicyyyyjas, LeighAnnSays, Ingrid Nilsen and Nikki Phillippi.
